Education opportunities

Labor organizations offer many opportunities to members and their families. At the international level, the AFL-CIO offers scholarships as do other  international unions and many locals. Some are offered in labor studies but most are awarded in the student's chosen course of study. Apprenticeships are also offered by most unions as a entry point to membership..

If you are interested in labor studies, either to advance in your labor related job,  or  for personal enrichment, many opportunities exist in higher level academia.
